How to pronounce the word igigiq?
The i is pronouced as y in happy. the G is pronounced as G in good. the Q is pronounced as C in Cake or as K in King.

What does igigiq mean?
To start it is a kind of way of laugh, just like Popey the sailorman and most of all like Ace Ventura in his second movie.

Second it's the name i gave to my INUKSUK logo. An inuksuk is a statue or rock formation made in the arctic (not antarctic) by the inuit people. It can have various formes and meanings. One of them is a human like shaped rock formation. When you try to speek nunavut (the language of inuit) you will find out quickly that it is tongue breaking. It's almost impossible to pronounce there words. Whenever i say the word igigiq i have to think about the inuit people living in one of the most remarkable places on earth.

What is igigiq?
igigiq is the name of a one man organisation and the name of his inuksuk. It provides all kinds of flash movies from small games to musical applications to educational softwares. Everything is based on own design.

Who is the creator of igigiq?
My name is Michaël, born from a dutch father and a spanish/ french/ algerian mother. I'm working as a consultant in art education for theachers in elementary schools. I studied Art in Amsterdam and got a first degree as an art teacher. beside my work as consultant I like to make all kinds of 'freubels' (things). Most of them on the computer using Flash, resulting in games, musical applications, educational software and cultural gadgets. It's just a way of letting al my creativity free. As a very inquisitive man (I'm fascinated by everyting in the world, from micro-organisme to far away galaxies) making these freubels is a way of processing.

Structure website igigiq:
The website is devided in 7 parts: Games, Music, Education, Puzzle, Culture, About igigiq and Help.

The homepage consist of a turning washing machine with 7 Hawaiian shirts. Each Hawaiian shirt links to a unit of the website. it opens a new fixed window with a menu, from here you can browse the items and back to the menu. when you pull your mouse over one of the buttons in the menu you will get additional information about the item in your STATUSBAR (i.e 4.x and higher). To get to an other unit, choose from the shirts in the main page.
